Description

The South East Coast Ambulance Service Foundation Trust (‘The Trust’) provides pre-hospital emergency and urgent care to the population of the south east of England. To deliver this service a core component of the service is the provision of a fully prepared, equipped and clean fleet of vehicles, through monitoring and re-stocking medical equipment/consumables, known as 'vehicle preparation and cleaning service'. To successfully meet this requirement, the Trust aspires to have a Make Ready Operation that demonstrates the highest operational standards, through a well-led workforce, robust procedures and policies, and with a collaborative, partnership approach. The Trust is seeking expressions of interest from suitably competent and committed providers, who have a process of quality improvement and innovation embedded within its organisation and who has a set of living values which drive a culture of engagement and accountability. The provider will preferably have experience of delivering high quality operational make ready and C1 classified driver transportation services, or the capability to provide the requirements, and wish to become an integral and strategic provider for the delivery of a fully managed service. The Trust is holding a pre-market engagement event where potential bidders will have the chance to comment on the draft specification and spend some time watching the make ready process at one of our centres.
