GNI are also looking for potential applicants to propose any new techniques or technologies which they believe will: — broaden the range of pipelines which can be inspected, — improve measurement reliability/accuracy, — increase the range of parameters being measured, — improve data processing and positional accuracy, — enhanced data analysis/interpretation. GNI currently has 41 individual pipelines. Which undergo Inline inspection on a risk based inspection schedule. These are located in the UK, subsea between the UK and Ireland and throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. GNI wish to put in place a framework which will be used to procure the specialist ILI services required to carry out these inspections.
