Crown Commercial Service as the authority intends to put in place a pan government collaborative agreement for the provision of creative and marketing services to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education, charities and devolved administrations. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all creative and marketing services required by UK Central Government Departments. The aim of the communications marketplace agreement is to provide public sector customers with access to an innovative, quality and value for money approach to buying communications that takes advantage of dynamic changes within the marketplace. The agreement will be an active marketplace (2 + 1 + 1) with filters for customers to pick the relevant services they require. Suppliers will be able to add themselves to the marketplace throughout the lifetime of the agreement. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) plans to introduce a procurement for communication/creative services. Crown Commercial Service and the government communication service have been working extensively with the market and customers in order to develop a fit-for-purpose procurement strategy. The communications marketplace will build on the successes of the current communication services agreement, however will have enhancements and improvements incorporated gained by our extensive pre-market engagement with the market and feedback from current suppliers on the framework, the wider market, trade bodies and clients. The current communications services framework will be adapted to become an actively managed marketplace where the specialist capabilities needed now and in the future can be accessed. This will build on proven existing services and add new services in. It will allow compliant access to new agencies and specialist capabilities as both markets and needs develop, irrespective of size and location.
