Description

Abertay University is a specialist university based in Dundee with approximately 5,000 students. The University is seeking to modernise and enhance its digital experience platforms to better support student recruitment, engagement, communication and service delivery. As part of this market engagement exercise, suppliers are asked to consider the University's scale, resources and strategic ambitions when outlining potential solutions, delivery approaches and indicative costs. This will help ensure responses are proportionate to Abertay's requirements while providing a sustainable foundation for future digital transformation initiatives. Abertay University is seeking to engage with the market to understand the availability of solutions capable of delivering a modern, integrated digital experience platform, or integrated set of platforms and services, to support the University's website, intranet and web/mobile portal requirements. Lot 1: The University is seeking to improve student recruitment and conversion, enhance staff and student engagement, strengthen digital communications, simplify content management and provide a more joined-up and personalised digital experience across its key digital channels The scope includes: - A public-facing website serving as the University's primary digital channel for student recruitment and conversion, marketing and communications, promotion of courses and research, and engagement with prospective students, partners and external stakeholders. - A staff and student intranet platform providing audience-specific content and communications. - A web and mobile portal experience (currently delivered through the myday platform) providing staff and students with personalised access to university services, learning resources, communications, academic information and other digital services. The University is interested in understanding whether these requirements are best met through a single platform, a suite of integrated products, or an alternative architectural approach, together with the associated benefits, risks, implementation considerations and indicative costs. The University wishes to gather information from suppliers on potential solutions, delivery approaches, operating models, implementation considerations and indicative costs to inform a future procurement strategy and business case.
