Hamar Kommune [Hamar Municipality] offers day activities to people with disabilities and day activities to the elderly and persons with dementia/cognitive failure. Transport to and from these offered services is referred to as special transport. Hamar Municipality (the Contracting Authority) is implementing an open tender competition concerning special transport in Hamar. For further information about Hamar Municipality, refer to the home-page www.hamar.kommune.no Special transport includes the following types of driving assignments: — transport of persons with disabilities from home/residence to daily activities and school at Olsrud and return; — transport of elderly from the users home to the day activities at Presterud and Finsal and return; — transport of persons with dementia/cognitive failure from the user's home to the day activity at Klukstuen and return.
