Licences and Software Subscription for use with Cisco Unified Communication product set currently deployed at the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine

The Department utilises the following Cisco software components in connection with its IPT environment (hereinafter referred to as “Cisco Based IPT/VOIP Systems”), Unity Connection for Voicemail, Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Unified Contact Centre Express, Cisco Unified Attendant Console Advanced and Cisco Expressway Cluster for B2B and MRA. The Department has Smart Software Manager subscriptions on these products in place and have a policy of upgrading to current stable releases. The Departments Cisco Based IPT/VOIP Systems are deployed in a virtualised environment based on VMware. The existing call manger environment is currently based on a single publisher, two subscriber cluster. The Department makes extensive use of Cisco Contact centre as one of its customer interaction technologies. The Department is in the process of replacing all legacy telephony systems and migrating the existing user base to a VOIP implementation based on our current Cisco Based IPT/VOIP Systems. In addition in keeping with its software currency policy in this area the Department will be regularly upgrading software versions of the installed product set. It is envisaged that this tender will lead to the putting in place of a drawdown contract for all the Departments UC requirements including hardware, software, Cisco licences and subscription, Reseller Customer Support Days for the term of the contract. The current versions of UC software deployed in the Department are shown in the RFT document. The Department has an existing UC Flex 3.0 Contract in place since February 2023 details shown in the RFT document. The new tender will facilitate the ongoing annual renewal of the licencing and subscription in this contract.
