Meals-on-wheels services

Description

Kvam municipality, c/o the Health and Care Service wishes to enter into a framework agreement for dinner deliveries for users of the health and care service. The agreement includes the deliveries of refrigerated/vacuumed dinners, desserts/soups twice a week. The food shall be delivered to the various delivery locations in Kvam municipality. The locations include are i.a. institutions/sheltered accomodations with 24/7 care, day care centres, work places for elderly/handicapped and residential users in Kvam municipality. The contract includes training the employees in the health and care sector in correct treatment of the food deliveries. The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a single framework agreement with one tenderer who shall cover the entire requirements for food deliveries etc. to the health and welfare sector. The procurement will be carried out in accordance with the current Public Procurement Law of 17.6.2016, nº 73 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 12.8.2016 nº 974, parts I and II. The service included in the contract is considered as a special service in accordance with annex 2 to the Public Procurement Regulations. Special services apply to the Public Procurement Regulations' part II even if the contract value is above the EEA threshold value. The tender contest shall be implemented as a reserved contract. This means that the tender contest is limited to companies regulated by the Public Procurement Regulations’ § 8-8.
