Description

Northern (NTL) has inherited 20 class 156s from AGA & EMR (Cascades) which operate out of NTL's Newton Heath (Manchester) Train Care Centre (TCC). These units need to go through a Refresh and "Digital Train" upgrades as to align with the rest of NTL's original fleet. Historically Refresh and "Digital Train" have been separate work streams however as the scopes overlap NTL is going out to market for a supplier to merge these work streams and deliver the installation/ refresh at the winning supplier's premises.
