Garendon Park - New 2FE Primary School - Construction Stage

Description

The project consists of the construction of new 2FE (two storey) Primary School on green field land forming part of the Garendon Park housing development, known as Primary School North under the s.106. Further details available via the developers outline planning application number P/14/1833/2 from Charnwood Borough Council planning website. The design is to follow the Leicestershire County Council standardised design model. The Contractor shall develop the design based on Leicestershire County Council (LCC) standard school design for a 2FE (two storey school) to the LCC / DfE generic brief specifications, LCC local policies (such as LCC net zero low carbon standards and sprinklers inclusion). The scope of this contract is for the construction stage. The contract was awarded as a result of a further competition under the PAGABO Major Works framework. The awarded value of the construction contract is £11,785,086.88 ex VAT.
