SPS-02347 Grounds Maintenance East Area

Description

The SPS is seeking a Supplier to provide reactive and planned grounds maintenance services to HMP Edinburgh, HMP Shotts, HMP & YOI Polmont and Central Stores Fauldhouse. (Grass Cutting, Hedging, Weed Control, Cleaning of grounds) The Contract Term shall be 2 years with the option to extend for a further 1 years. Lot 1: Core Tasks – Routine Services. HMP Edinburgh, HMP Shotts, SPS Fauldhouse: Grass cutting; Grass edging; Meadow/Turf maintenance; Hedge maintenance; Shrub and Bed maintenance; Young tree maintenance; Supply and lay ground bark/mulch; Cleaning of grounds (incl. litter picking, leaves, hard-surface weed control); and Ground surface condition reports (incl. paths, walls, manholes, ponding, surface drains). HMP & YOI Polmont: Cleaning of grounds (incl. litter picking, leaves, hard-surface weed control); Weed Control Additional Tasks - only carried out upon written instruction from the Purchaser. Invasive weeds (eg Giant Hogweed/Japanese Knotweed); Mature Tree Works; Ground maintenance at void properties; and Any other instructed works outside Core Tasks. Call-Off Services - only carried out upon written instruction from the Purchaser. Tree Surgeon Services; and Tree Survey and Reports.
