WHQS Pilot Study Lessons Learnt Research

Pilot studies are being carried out with Welsh social landlords to examine the process set out in the WHQS Part 3 Affordable Warmth and Decarbonisation, ‘Whole Stock Assessment and Target Energy Pathway’ Guidance (WSA and TEP Guidance) The studies commenced in June 2023 and are planned to complete in Autumn 2024. They are directly funded by the landlords, through Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP) funding and are led by WG’s WHQS Technical Consultant.The Studies are run by Bron Afon, Barcud, Tai Tarian, Clwyd Alyn, Valleys to Coast Housing Associations, Wrexham, Powys and Flintshire Councils.WG wishes to commission a study to review and summarise the materials produced in the studies, understand whether the guidance produces the outcomes WG is seeking, and provide recommendations for the guidance to the standard.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=142151.
