The Contract will enable the Council to continue to meet its regulatory requirements in relation to the servicing and repair of lifts and hoists as specified in the Lifting Operations and Lowering Equipment Regulations (LOLER 1998) and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER 1998). The Contract requires the servicing and repair of specialist Equipment located within private domestic properties, Council (Cumbria Care) establishments and other approved locations within the boundaries of Cumbria.
