Description

Ringerike municipality has held a competition for contract M3 Process Equipment for the expansion of Monserud Treatment Facility. The contract has been awarded to Aquagain-Folding Smed AS, Denmark. A new treatment facility shall be constructed for the expansion of Monserud Treatment Facility that shall work parallel to the existing facility. The new facility is dimensioned for 24 000 pe. and prepared for a further expansion to 36 000 pe. Some of the equipment shall, thus. be delivered for 36 000 pe. in this delivery. The capacities are given in Amounts Description (H1). The new facility shall include preliminary treatment with sand and a grease trap, primary sedimentation, biological process, secondary sedimentation with added chemicals, sludge treatment, thermophilic decomposition and gas treatment. In addition the existing facility shall be expanded with a biological process (separate contract). Screw pumps in bio. in the existing facility are included in this contract. The distribution of the sewage water between the existing and new facilities will be built into a separate distribution manhole in the new facility.
