Description
Knappen Wastewater Treatment Plant is a rock installation located between Sælenvatnet and Grimstad fjord in Bergen Municipality. The plant is a chemical treatment plant dimensioned for 63 000 pe. The current coarse screens are to be replaced as it is old/worn out. In addition the system for handling material caught by grates is to be replaced. A lifting system must also be established to lift the grates for maintenance/replacement, etc., as there is not space for a crane truck inside the rock installation.
