Novation of Mechanical, Electrical & Facade Installation works for UCC Western Gateway Building Phase 2 Fit Out

Description

UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to appoint Individual Lots for Mechanical ,Electrical & Facade Specialists for the project. Each Individual Lot will be evaluated separately. The successful applicants for each lot will enter a contract with the employer and will subsequently be Novated to the Main Contractor under clause 5.4 of the Public Works Contract for Building Works designed by the Employer PW-CF1 using the CWMF Model Form 1.9 Novation Agreement. The proposed works comprise the fit-out of part of the 3rd and 4th floors of the Western Gateway Building.The total area of new build at 4th floor is 400sqm and fit out on both third and fourth floors is 440sqm and 2000.sqm respectively. The fit-out will facilitate the integration of new Biomedical research facilities and laboratories together with associated offices. Full details of the Mechanical, Electrical & Facade Installation works are included in the works requirements attached to the overall package. The candidate’s submission will be in two parts as detailed in the attached documents. The contract is the Public Works Contract for Building Works designed by the Employer PW- CF1 latest revision.
