Description
Orkney Islands Council (“the Council”) is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide two qualified outdoor activity instructional staff to be available to provide outdoor activity instruction based from the Hoy and Birsay Outdoor Centres within Orkney for the 2023 season with 2 x 12 month options for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, to be held at the Council’s discretion, based on satisfactory performance by the contractor. The Council has provided outdoor activity instruction to local schools and youth groups over a number of years and has a requirement to continue this provision for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons, with outdoor activity instructors to lead and work alongside Council staff to provide a varied programme of outdoor activity for range of children and young people between the ages of 8 and 16.
