Direct Award - Back Up Contractor for the Design, Installation and Repairs of Domestic Heating Systems

The Council’s Housing and Technical Resources Property Services have a requirement for a back-up contractor to provide Design, Installation and Repairs of Domestic Heating Systems which include Air Source Heating Systems, Gas Heating replacements, Natural Gas Fired Heating Systems and Electric Wet Central Heating to ensure that there is a minimal disruption to any Housing or Non-Housing property without the appropriate level of heating. The Council’s Procurement Service has identified a suitable and accessible Framework as follows: Framework: Scotland Excel Framework Property Maintenance and Refurbishment Framework (1821)(Lot 5: Heating). Framework period: 16 June 2023 until 15 June 2025 and was extended to the 15 June 2027. It is the Council’s intention to use in-house provision where possible and this contract will only be used in times of high demand. Lot 1: South Lanarkshire Council awarded a call-off contract by Direct Award under the Scotland Excel Framework for the Property Maintenance and Refurbishment Framework (1821) (Lot 5: Heating) The selection criteria states that the Council can directly select a contractor for a particular Work Order, considering the selection criteria of the framework. The call-off contract is for the period 12 January 2026 to 11 January 2028 with optional extension of up to 24 months.
