ARE-Next Generation Practical Training Fund

The Next Generation Practical Training Fund “the fund” aims to support new entrants and the next generation into the agricultural sector by providing the opportunity for skills development and training on the practicalities of agricultural practice as well as wider business, sustainability and health and safety skills. The Scottish Government (SG) is seeking to contract with a third party service provider to administer and distribute public funds on its behalf. Lot 1: The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Next Generation Practical Training Fund. We are looking for a provider to administer indirect grant administration for training courses targeted at a certain group of farmers, crofters and land managers. This would include: advertising/hosting agriculture related training courses on a website, scrutinise appropriate training courses for the aims of the fund, receive applications from applicants, facilitate a grant awards to training course providers on behalf of the SG, provide communications to promote the service.
