Description
GCHSCP are now preparing for ‘All in for Glasgow Phase 2’ supported by Homeless Network Scotland who will facilitate consultation and design sessions, drawing on expertise of local services/providers and people with experience of mental ill health, alcohol and drug use, involvement in Justice, and homelessness. This will support the implementation of evidence-based solutions and help to develop Supported Housing that can provide what matters most to people seeking support. Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) have appointed Homeless Network Scotland to support and progress homelessness services which resulted in the ‘All in for Glasgow’ programme of change. Phase 1 of the ‘All in for Glasgow’ programme assisted GCHSCP to successfully tender and award outreach services, WAYfinder. This was informed from the effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including people with lived experience. GCHSCP are now preparing for ‘All in for Glasgow Phase 2’ supported by Homeless Network Scotland. This phase will include supported housing requirements at a person level, therefore, this will consider mental health, alcohol and drug recovery, justice and homelessness as a whole system. GCHSCP believe that it is essential that we consider the many and varied reasons why people require supported housing so that we can meet their care and support needs and this will be considered as part of the ‘All in for Glasgow Phase 2’. Homeless Network Scotland will facilitate this process and will draw on expertise of local services and people with experience of mental ill health, alcohol and drug use, involvement in Justice, and homelessness. This will support the implementation of evidence-based solutions and help to develop Supported Housing that can provide what matters most to people seeking support. The ‘All in For Glasgow Phase 2’ process of change will focus on the support people need during a housing and cost-of-living crisis. The process will focus on creating the conditions for effective collaboration to advance service delivery by implementing the solutions that are proven to work – a crucial factor in this moment. Homeless Network Scotland will support GCHSCP by facilitating this process of change that will draw on recent learning, harness the energy of the sector determined to meet current challenges – and to put in place Supported Housing to support people in Glasgow affected by mental ill health; alcohol and drug use; subject to the Justice system; and homelessness.
