Description

Telford & Wrekin Council is undertaking a market engagement exercise to identify providers who may be able to deliver specialist accommodation and support for an adult with learning disabilities and complex support needs who is preparing for discharge from an inpatient setting. This exercise is being undertaken to: • Understand market capacity and capability. • Explore accommodation options. • Inform commissioning intentions. • Assist in determining the most appropriate procurement approach under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). Participation in this exercise does not constitute a call for competition and does not commit the Council to award a contract. The individual presents with: • Male, aged 51. • Mild Learning Disability. • Currently residing in a specialist inpatient setting. • Verbal communicator. • Independent with mobility. • Requires specialist support arrangements due to complex behavioural and risk management needs. Support Needs • Positive Behaviour Support. • Consistent staffing team. • Support to maintain independence. • Support accessing community opportunities. • Robust risk management arrangements Lot 1: This process will use the Provider Selection Regime Most Suitable Provider Process
