Description
Birmingham City Council requires suppliers for the provision of referencing of land ownership for Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO) primarily under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Housing Act 1985 and the Highways Act 1980. This redevelopment not only affects the central city area, but also includes regeneration programmes in the suburbs. Land referencing and re-referencing is a requirement primarily for identifying land ownership for CPOs. Schemes may require compulsory purchase under a variety of legislation as listed above. This procurement process has been undertaken in order to meet the council's future redevelopment requirements which is important to the economic success and redevelopment of the City. This contract will be for a period of 4 years commencing 01/03/2019 until 28/02/2023 subject to satisfactory performance. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this quotation and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. We will send you a log on and password so you can download the quotation documentation. Requests to participate must be by way of response to the quotation document no later than 5pm on 18th January 2019 using the Supplier Portal. Please note that your response may be uploaded before the closing date and BCC will begin to review responses as they come in.
