Description

The project which is the subject to this Request for Tender for design services will be initiated in 2024 and consists of the following works in line with an overall coordinated theme: Main Street Upgrading and alteration of existing footpaths, parking provision, and carriageways, introduction of tabletop pedestrian crossings, street furniture, bollards, undergrounding of overhead cables, public lighting, signage, retention of controlled pedestrian crossing, landscaping and planting, digital interactive point, and all associated site works. Water Lane Upgrading of Carriageway surface, Preparation of Colour Scheme for all buildings to enhance appearance of the lane, upgrade to public lighting. Market Street Upgrading and alteration of existing footpaths, parking provision, and carriageways, introduction of tabletop pedestrian crossings, bollards, undergrounding of overhead cables, public lighting, signage, and all associated site works. Car-Park to Back of Main Street Provision of Car-Park to include landscaped areas, public lighting, drainage (SUDS if possible) and pedestrian link through existing laneway to Main Street. Designers shall consider how proposed car -park will tie-in to adjacent private properties.
