Description

WHCC on behalf of NHS Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group (Contracting Authority) on 17.5.2019 published a PIN with a call for competition (2019/S 095-229706) in the OJEU, for the award of a children and adult community orthotics + wigs service contract. The Contracting Authority is utilising its discretion, as per the published tender, to withdraw the notice and associated ITT that has been published subsequently and hereby inform the authority's decision not to carry the award procedure to its conclusion. The Contracting Authority has taken this decision based on the assessment that carrying the award procedure to its conclusion is no longer appropriate as it has not been possible to achieve the key objectives of the published tender, especially the requirement to deliver the service in an integrated framework thereby providing a seamless pathway for patients.
