VLFK needs to hire capacity in a broadband network. The contract includes: — the tenderer will own and operate the infrastructure; — the tenderer must provide a high level of service and support. Implementation of the new system will be carried out in stages in the period from 1 October 2020 into year 2021, provided that a contract is signed by September 2020. The contract includes: Package 1: Broadband to locations in the location list (Annex 1-1) and the main lines for computer centres; Package 2: a transverse line between the computer centres in Strømgaten Bergen and Askedalen in Leikanger. The tenderers are allowed to submit tenders for one package or both. The tenderer will own and operate the infrastructure and any need for development to fulfil the contract is the responsibility of the tenderer and must be free of cost and risk for the client. The tenderer must provide a high level of service and support.
