Description

Dorset Council Adult Services Commissioning Team would like to invite you to a market engagement event on 1st May 2024 to find out more about our intentions for procuring services for adults with Mental Health Needs, Personality Disorder and Autism. The intention is to run a further competition open to all providers registered on Lot 10 ‘Support at home – mental health and autism’ on the Dorset Care, Support, Housing and Community Safety Framework. The link to register for this Framework is here: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=0ba433c5-30a9-ec11-8112-005056b64545&p=696a9836-1895-e511-8105-000c29c9ba21 The intention is to move towards more collaborative relationships with providers, sharing intelligence about impact & opportunities for growth & development, leading to better outcomes for the people that we support. The Council are seeking a better understanding of potential and sustainable service models and ways to support people to achieve their self-directed outcomes. If you are interested in attending the market engagement event, at 3pm on Wednesday 1st May 2024 via Teams, please email: adultscommissioningteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk by 26th April 2024 at 5pm. This is a market engagement which may or may not result in a contract opportunity being advertised through a procurement process. For information the description on the Framework is as follows: Lot 10 Support at Home Mental Health and Autism A support at home service is for people with a mental health need and/or autism, and the provider will be expected to work in a strengths-based way which focuses on individual outcomes, personal choice and promoting independence. The service supports people either in their own homes, self-contained and shared supported living accommodation, keeping people in their local communities. Support can range from short term to long term care and support arrangements, and may include elements of night cover, and delivery of core or group hours where appropriate. The provider will be skilled and experienced in supporting adults with mental illness, personality disorder and/or autism. Keywords: Support at home, Mental Health, Autism
