SLC/SW/24/058 Care Home for Adults with Mental Health Difficulties, Neurodiverse and Learning Difficulties – Catalina House

Description

This contract will cover the placement of one service user at Catalina House, a residential living facility in Alness, Ross-Shire which is owned and managed by St Philips Care Caledonia Ltd. The facilities at Catalina House include 28 ensuite bedrooms on ground and first floor levels, lounge areas, a large dining area and a central kitchen. Another kitchen is available for those residents who wish to prepare their own meals. It is also set within extensive landscaped and secure grounds. St Philips Care Caledonia Limited (Catalonia House) have been determined by social work as the most suitable provider for the service users complex needs and it is anticipated that they will require adult residential care at Catalina House for at least five years. Lot 1: The Council has an ongoing requirement for Care Home provision for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs and uses the providers appointed to Scotland Excel Framework Agreements, in particular the 1918 Care Homes for Adults with Learning Disabilities including Autism. St Philips Care Caledonia Limited (Catalina House) are not an appointed provider on this Framework so we require to put a negotiated contract in place for the service users that are currently resident in the establishment.
