Benchtop Steriliser - Annual Validation, Verification and Maintenance

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (hosted by Velindre NHS Trust) ("NWSSP") conducted an Open Procedure procurement in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 on behalf of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board ("CTMUHB"), who will enter into the Agreement. The procurement sought to identify a suitably qualified and competent provider to deliver annual validation, verification and preventative maintenance services for benchtop sterilisers located throughout CTMUHB Community Dental Service sites. Following completion of the procurement process, a single-supplier contract will be awarded. CTMUHB operates a number of benchtop sterilisers of varying types and manufacturers across its Community Dental Service locations. The contract provides for the annual validation, verification and maintenance of these assets in accordance with Welsh Health Technical Memorandum (WHTM) 01-05: Decontamination in Primary Care Dental Practices and Community Dental Services, BS EN 13060 and manufacturer requirements. The contractor will undertake periodic testing, validation, verification, preventative maintenance and certification activities to ensure continued compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The service supports patient safety, infection prevention and control objectives, equipment reliability, regulatory compliance and continuity of clinical services across the Health Board. ## Contract award Title: Benchtop Steriliser - Annual, Validation, Verification and Maintenance
