Special edition of Magnus Lagabøte's National Law

In 2024, the 750th anniversary of Magnus Lagabøte's National Law will be celebrated. The National Library of Norway is therefore planning several book copies for the general public. The books shall communicate legal texts in Norse and modern Norwegian. The invitation to tender concerns the delivery of special prints for books to the general public in connection with the national celebration of the 750th anniversary of Magnus Lagabøte's National Law. The National Library of Norway is planning a splendour release of 1500 book editions of the National Act in connection with the anniversary. The book must be of particularly high quality with a cover in genuine leather with gold foil and a sewn back, as well as an inner book with a high degree of illustration and masking of details in gold. The releases shall be part of a high-profile initiative in the anniversary year. Lot 1: The value of the contract is approx. NOK 2,300,000 excluding VAT. The value is an estimate and is not binding for the contracting authority. Maximum value including options and expected price increase: NOK 4,000,000 excluding VAT. The tender must be submitted in Norwegian or English and submitted via KGV (the Tender management system). See the procurement documents for further information. Lots/groups Tenders cannot be submitted for parts of the assignment, and alternative tenders are not allowed. The contracting authority has considered dividing up the assignment in accordance with PPR, section 19-4 but has decided that this is not suitable for this type of contract. Contract The procurement will be regulated by the attached contract with the associated standard terms. The contract period is from and including 2022-03-01 to and including2024-03-31. The delivery date is 30.11.23. The contracting authority will sign a contract with 1 tenderer. The contracting authority expects that the tenderer is familiar with the contract provisions and makes the necessary internal clarifications in such a way that a contract can be signed if awarded.
