Summary of the work Provision of an experienced project management team resource for the implementation of the Trusts EPR system implementation. resources will include PMO, programme director and manager project managers Senior Product Specialists Configuration Support resources technical teams floor walking support UAT teams Expected Contract Length 1 year with the option to extend for a further six month period. Latest start date Thursday 20 June 2019 Budget Range The Trust will be working on a Capped T&M model, however your day rates Must not exceed the framework for DOS and must be best on the most competitive market rate. Why the Work is Being Done Kettering General Hospital (KGH) is working to complete its Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation. It has just awarded a contract to System C to implement a number of additional modules in a challenging timescale. The Trust requires some additional support to ensure the implementation is efficient, moves at pace and delivers the patient and staff benefits as soon as possible. Problem to Be Solved The Trust requires a readily available project delivery team to represent the Client side of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) project delivery team to ensure the successful implementation of the Trust EPR implementation by May 2020. The team needs to be available to commence work as soon as possible but no later than 20th June. The supplier may phase in the delivery team in line with the priorities defined in the implementation support resource plan. More details on the skill sets and outcomes are available in a separate document, which interested suppliers are welcome to request by email. Who Are the Users The EPR system will be used across the Trust by clinicians and their administrators to efficiently provide patient care. Existing Team the team will be working with the Trust EPR system delivery partner System C and all other interfacing service providers. The EPR Programme Structure is available by email request. Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • Provide roles for Programme Director/ Managers, Project Managers, Product specialists, Trainers, Device Config specialists, Testers, floorwalking support • Evidence of working iteratively, and working in the health sector • Evidence of working on complex digital transformation programmes with many dependencies and integrations with backend and legacy applications • Evidence of managing complex digital delivery programmes • Evidence of working with 3rd party suppliers and across multifunction teams • Experience of providing comparable client side transformational change programme delivery support in the health sector Work Location Kettering General Hospital, Rothwell Road, Kettering, NN16 8UZ Working Arrangments The team will be co-located within the Digital Care Services available Monday to Fridays. Outcomes will be agreed in discrete work packages. against a Statement of Work that will be aligned with the Trust priorities. No there isn’t, the ERP implementation was awarded to commence on 1st April 2019 and we are now in a position to appoint resources to represent the Client side. 8. Just a quick thing, in the bid document it is stated that £300k is the budget, is this for the initial phase please and the successful bidders Programme Director would then request further budget? The initial phase budget is 300k. where further phases are to be delivered in line with the projects priorities that will require budget approval. Each phase will be treated as a discrete work package which will be reviewed by the Chief Digital Information Officer and approved by the Trust Board. 16. To clarify is the 300k budget to cover full 1-year time period? If not, what time period does the 300k cover and which roles are expected for that?
