Description

The Contracting Authority requests tender offers for the delivery of a mobile, slow-moving rough cutter/grinder to process rough timber. The grinder must be mounted on a trailer chassis certified to haul the chopper on public roads. It must also be delivered with its own propulsion system. See the tender documentation and requirement specification for more information. The grinder must be slow-moving and designed to grind garden-park waste, recycled timber, stumps and roots. It must be delivered with a long conveyor belt and must be able to produce difference sizes of processed timber, for example 100 mm/150 mm/250 mm/300 mm. The Contracting Authority anticipates that the cutter will operate for approx. 1 200 hours per year. It will be based at Støleheia in Vennesla municipality, but will also be driven to assignments around Sørlandet [Southern Norway]. As part of the delivery, the tenderer must also give a price for a Crambo 5 000 rough cutter, 2 008 model with approx. 10 000 operational hours that must be traded in from the Contracting Authority.
