The EPA in its statutory role to adopt food waste prevention programmes has developed and led the consumer-focussed Stop Food Waste programme since 2010. The goal of the Stop Food Waste programme is a measured increase in the number of people engaging on the topic and widespread public awareness of the issue of food waste and solutions to help reduce it. This is a prior information notice with the purpose of inviting the market to participate in a market consultation exercise in relation to the provision of digital marketing services for Stop Food Waste.
