Description

A joint WAN network is to be established when Hedmark and Oppland Counties merge. It will be much easier and less expensive with one WAN service provider (ISP). The job with linking the locations in the counties to one joint WAN network will be much easier and less expensive with one WAN service provider (ISP). Hedmark County has an ongoing contract with Atea/Telenor for ‘outer’ locations. The contract period is 2 years from 18.12.2015 with an option for 1 year + 1 year extension, until 31.12.2023. 3 months' written notice can be given on the contract. Oppland County has an ongoing contract with Eidsiva Bredbånd AS with an agreement period from 1.1.2018 until 31.12.2021. The contract can be extended for 1 year at a time for up to further 3 years. Hedmark and Oppland Counties want to expand Oppland County's contract to also include the outer locations in Hedmark County and to continue this as a contract for Innlandet County after 1.1.2020. The contract must be continued on identical terms as Oppland County's current terms with Eidsiva Bredbånd. Any objections may result in an evaluation regarding publishing a new 2-year contract that only includes the locations in Hedmark County, starting from 1.1.2020.
