Description

Renfrewshire Council requires a Contractor make and install the wayfinding signage for Paisley Museum. Lot 1: The Council requires a Contractor to make and install the wayfinding signage that has been designed by international designers. The signage design aims to help visitors find their way around all the displays and facilities, ensuring that they see all that the campus has to offer. The exterior and interior signage includes: powder-coated folded metal, CNC-cut vinyls (interior and external), built-up letters, and some bespoke routed ValchromatTM (through-and-through coloured MDF) signs, affixed to a variety of wall, ceiling and ground surfaces. The ‘fluted’ effect of the routed Valchromat element of the signs uniquely references - in an abstract way - the warp threads on the looms that were prevalent in the town synonymous with the Paisley pattern.
