Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) wishes to notify potentially interested parties of it's on going requirement for the provision of Maintenance, Repair and Renewal Services for Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) on the Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) Network. Under any prospective contract, the Contractor will be required to provide suitably competent and experienced OHLE personnel suitably equipped to assist IÉ in carrying out OHLE maintenance and repairs as well as renewal programmes in accordance with IE's maintenance regimes. Attached to this Notice is a Market Consultation Document, which provides some more detail regarding the scope of the contract as well as brief questionnaire, which potentially interested parties are requested to complete and return to IE on or before 12:00 hrs on Monday 20.3.2017. Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) wishes to notify potentially interested parties of it's on going requirement for the provision of Maintenance, Repair and Renewal Services for the OHLE on the IÉ DART Network. The DART metro network is 34 years old and is a 1 500 Vdc Overhead Line Catenary System with traction return path through the track. It comprises some 45 kms of double track, 10 kms of single track and necessary stabling sidings in the Dublin area. The total length of contact wire is approximately 130 kms. The DART metro network is mostly over ground but has many bridges, 10 level crossings and some tunnels. The DART OHLE system comprises various quantities of Siemens, ADtranz & Balfour Beatty equipment. Attached to this Notice is a Market Consultation Document, which provides some more detail regarding the scope of the contract as well as a brief questionnaire, which potentially interested parties are requested to complete and return by 12:00 hrs on Monday 20.3.2017.
