Description

Efficiency East Midlands (EEM Ltd) is a procurement consortia which establishes and manages a range of framework agreements and Dynamic purchasing systems. Our members include social housing providers, local authorities, universities, academy trusts, NHS trusts and regional police forces. EEM procured and entered into a framework agreement with multiple contractors for the provision of drainage services.This framework was tendered and awarded based on the following lots: Lot 1: Drainage Services (Midlands); Lot 2: Drainage Services (South West); Lot 3: Drainage Services (London and the South East); Lot 4: Drainage Services (National Coverage). EEM Ltd on behalf of its membership has established a framework for the provision of planned and responsive drainage services to domestic property drainage and commercial waste. Contractors appointed to our drainage services framework — Lot 1 Midlands are responsible for ensuring all works commissioned through the framework are undertaken in accordance with relevant industry standards, water authority standards, approved codes of best practise, manufacturers instructions and installer recommendations. Appointed contractors are capable of providing a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year service for: — clearing and unblocking of drainage systems, — remedial repairs, — any other works associated with the above. The following services are covered by the framework agreement: — reactive service for drain unblocking and jetting, — inspections and cyclical maintenance, — improving and upgrading drainage systems, — CCTV drain surveys and reports, — drain repairs including patch repair, — pipe re-rounding, — root cutting, — drain re-lining, — cesspit and septic tank emptying, cleaning, unblocking and repairing, — interceptor inspections and waste removal, — grease trap emptying and cleaning, — gutter clearance and cleaning, — drain and manhole inspection and testing, — renew and rebed manhole covers and slabs. Any other tasks required in association with the above-mentioned services. The call-off contracts to be awarded pursuant to the framework agreements to be entered at conclusion of the procurement exercise may extend for a duration of up to 2 years beyond expiry of the 4-year framework term.Please note that the total potential value stated in this contract award notice is for the full 4-year framework and takes into consideration that the EEM membership may grow over the life of the framework.
