Verdal Municipality invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure for the procurement of an interaction contractor for a preliminary project, detailed project and the construction of a new residential and treatment centre in Verdal. The building will include 132 institution places, activity and service functions and a production kitchen. The building will have approx. 13 000 m2 BTA. Verdal Municipality, also called the Contracting Authority, invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure for a contract for the procurement of an interaction contractor for a preliminary project, detailed project and the construction of a new residential and treatment centre in Verdal. The building will include 132 institution places, with the accompanying activity and service functions, as well as a production kitchen. The building will have approx. 13 000 m2 BTA. The general aim of the project is to develop and construct a new centre with residential solutions that: — will be a good place to live, with solutions that reduce institution characteristics as much as possible, — where residents have their own room and are organised in small units that are adapted to users with compound medical diagnoses, including cognitive issues, — will be an important meeting place for relatives, neighbours, volunteers and others in Verdal, — has some co-use with Verdal sixth form college, as well as building and operating in close dialogue with the college, — the project has high environmental ambitions, see C2 Sustainability of Health Buildings Verdal, — has ambitions to develop and use new technology to improve living conditions, usability and running costs (key words are welfare technology and smart building). In accordance with this, the building is required to be executed in a partnering model in 2 phases, with the Contracting Authority having an option to order Phase 2. Phase 1 will consist of the development of a joint preliminary project and the establishment of a target price. Phase 2 will consist of detailed engineering design services and execution.
