Award of Contract for the provision of an Adult Social Care Service Diagnostic

Description

The Council has appointed a service provider to deliver a time-bound, evidenced-led diagnostic of the Adult Social Care service as Phase 1. The objective of this diagnostic is to quantify financial and practice-based improvement opportunities, define a realistic and deliverable savings profile, and produce a fully costed transformation plan to improve outcomes for residents while reducing cost in a sustainable way. The contract includes the option to award Phase 2 to the provider for the design, implementation and support to sustain improvements identified as part of Phase 1. The procurement was carried out through a further competition procedure under the Crown Commercial Services RM6309, Management Consultancy Framework Four (Lot 3).
