Provision of Pre-Construction (Stage 1) ECI Services – UAS Operations Centre

The Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to provide Stage 1 pre-construction Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) services for the proposed UAS Operations Centre in Aberdeenshire. Services will include buildability, construction methodology, programme and sequencing, procurement, supply-chain, risk, value-engineering and open-book cost-planning input. Stage 1 is anticipated to run for three months with a capped fee below GBP 50,000 excluding VAT. The procurement anticipates a potential subsequent Stage 2 construction appointment, with the total potential contract value currently estimated at approximately GBP 1.5 million. Appointment to Stage 1 provides no guarantee or entitlement to Stage 2.
