Voluntary ex ante transparency notice regarding a company agreement for Østfold Avfallssortering IKS (ØAS)

Halden municipality shall enter into an agreement with Østfold Avfallssortering IKS (ØAS) for transport, reception, sorting and further treatment of all residual waste collected from households in Halden municipality's geographical area with effect from the completion of ØAS' post-sorting plant and for 20 years. . Lot 1: The company shall ensure that citizens improve their environmental performance in their waste treatment, and so that the municipalities at least meet the EU's requirements for material recycling. In this way, the company becomes an important contributor to the circular economy. At the same time, citizens must be offered a waste system that makes them understand the utilization and acknowledge it.
