Upgrade of Indoor Cycling Studio

Description

This procurement is for the supply and installation of an integrated indoor cycling software and hardware solution to support the enhancement of its group cycling provision and improve the member experience whilst being compatible with Active Blackpool's existing IC bikes. The project includes the installation and commissioning of: • Specialist indoor cycling software capable of delivering both instructor-led and virtual cycling classes. • Associated hardware required to support the operation of the software platform. • New audio and lighting systems to create an high-quality studio environment. The solution will enable the delivery of both instructor-led and virtual cycling classes, increasing programme flexibility and extending access to classes without the requirement for an instructor to be present. A benchmarking exercise was undertaken to review available market solutions. This assessment considered indicative costs, technical capabilities, member benefits, compatibility with existing facilities, and the ability to meet service requirements. The outcome of the evaluation identified the proposed supplier as the most suitable provider, offering the best overall fit for operational needs and value for money. ## Contract award
