Description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) which is being published for the purpose of informing potential suppliers of a forthcoming competition for the supply and support of a Driver Test Administration system ("The System"). For the avoidance of doubt, no response is required at this stage. The specification of requirements for the system will be provided in the request for a tender document, which is expected to be issued in mid-January 2018. This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) which is being published for the purpose of informing potential suppliers of a forthcoming competition for the supply and support of a Driver Test Administration system ("The System"). For the avoidance of doubt, no response is required at this stage. The specification of requirements for the system will be provided in the Request for Tender Document, which is expected to be issued in mid-January 2018. The following 8 high-level components are envisaged to be included in the specification of requirements: 1) An RSA portal for customer engagement. 2) Login and authentication capability. 3) Eligibility capability (e.g. only display content and options which match this customer’s experience/qualifications. Integration with other data sources required). 4) Generic booking/scheduling. 5) Customer communication management. 6) Payments & Refunds handling. 7) Business Intelligence capability. 8) Workflow Engine. The above-listed components must be re-usable across the other functions of the RSA. However, there will be some requirements specific to the Driver Test process that RSA does not expect to be reusable, all of which shall be specified in the aforesaid RFT Document.
