Published
Description
PET and MRI scanning, radioligand production, and biomarker analysis Lot 1: PET and MRI scanning, radioligand production, and biomarker analysis • Only UK provider of PET tracers [11C]BU90008, [11C]SA4503, and [18F]BCPP-EF, that are currently used for our studies. • Invicro is located within the Hammersmith Hospital Campus, its location accommodates research participants for image and clinical assessments without increased burden and travel for the participants. While also reducing cost and time to conduct the studies. • [11C] tracers (with short half-life of about 20 minutes) and of [18F] radiotracers (with half-life of about 120 minutes) are produced in house and the short half-life of the [11C] tracers means Invicro’s two in-house cyclotron’s must be used. Their radioligand development platform means implementation of new tracers is not available at other facilities. • Invicro has the equipment and facilities to collect arterial blood samples during the scans and analyze the quantity of the radioactive metabolites on site.
