Single-party Framework Agreement for the Provision of Website Enhancement Services for the Scoilnet Initiative

Scoilnet.ie is the Department of Education and Skills’ (DES) official portal for Irish education. The website is managed by PDST Technology in Education on behalf of the DES and it contains a database of over 11,000+ online resources including links to websites, quizzes, lesson plans, notes, video/audio, games and other multimedia. Scoilnet.ie was redeveloped in 2013 to provide better support for teachers at both primary and post-primary levels, specifically providing them with the option to share and upload their own teaching and learning resources. The new website has been well received and as a result, additional enhancements/web functionality are required to maximise the offering and the reach of the website. As a result Dublin West Education Centre/PDST technology in Education wishes to establish a single party framework agreement for the provision of website enhancement services for the Scoilnet initiative. Following the conclusion of the framework agreement, an initial contract for the development and implementation of specified enhancements / web functionality for the Scoilnet website will be awarded to the framework operator.
