Description

The Tender comprises a framework agreement with 1 supplier (external concrete laboratory) regarding services related to designing, testing and monitoring of concrete blocks, to be placed in the Fehmarnbelt, as described in the following: 1. Production of form-work including instrumentation and reinforcement for concrete blocks to be exposed at the Fehmarnbelt exposure site in Rødbyhavn. 2. Casting of concrete blocks for the Fehmarnbelt exposure site, hereunder sourcing and acquisition of suitable constituent materials, development of mix designs, sampling and testing of fresh concrete, sampling and production of specimens, coring and testing concrete, analysis of test results and reporting. 3. Supervision of casting of concrete blocks done by contractors for the Fehmarnbelt exposure site. 4. Placing and transportation from casting sites of concrete blocks done by the supplier and contractors at the Fehmarnbelt exposure site (the exposure site is made available by Femern A/S). 5. Preparation of detailed design and execution of a test programme for the concrete blocks. 6. Preparation of detailed design and execution of a monitoring programme for the concrete blocks. 7. Testing during the construction phase of Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link, hereunder performing tests of concrete on samples during the construction phase when so required by Femern A/S. 8. Construction monitoring as a support to Femern's construction management team, including reviews of the contractors plans, spot checks on site, audit participation and participation in site progress meetings. 9. Production of background reports on concrete and associated products for advanced civil engineering projects in the fields of durability, material and execution subjects, including monitoring technology. The supplier shall function as the owner's — Femern A/S — external laboratory and shall work under Femern A/S's surveillance and according to orders from Femern A/S. Femern A/S expects the supplier to deliver services of first class professional quality and performed with the utmost promptness, diligence and efficiency as well as in accordance with the best knowledge in the technical field and relevant industry. The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link will have a total length of approximately 20 km and will link the Danish Island Lolland with the German Island Fehmarn through a tunnel. The link will carry a 4 lane motorway and 2 emergency lanes and a 2 track railway.
