Description

The contracts are for the provision of expert end of life hospice care. The contract values detailed are what the commissioner (Herts Valleys CCG) is proposing to pay, split over the 5 year term, the values do not include the extension clause that is proposed for a further 2 years (and subject to decision by the commissioner). The value does not include the value of any charitable funds which each of the providers utilises to provide the service specified in the proposed contracts. The commissioner is proposing to novate all 4 of these contracts to the preferred bidder (or lead provider thereof) identified via the proposed procurement of Adult community services. The hospice contracts are to remain unchanged, and if changes are required then the commissioner must make the final decision. The financial values given are the anticipated values assigned to this service and nominated service providers, they are not yet final and are subject to agreement. See short description.
