This project involves the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing SEN (Special Educational Needs) facilities located on the first floor of a ROSLA block. The intention is to expand the current SEN working area and to provide a separate photography studio. The redevelopment is intended to enhance the quality and functionality of the space by creating a variety of zones. These will include breakout and regulation areas, sensory and intervention spaces, and a classroom-style environment. The project also incorporates new office accommodation for staff, along with a kitchenette. In addition, the scheme provides a dedicated Art and Photography area. The works will consist of the internal refurbishment of the first-floor SEN and Art classroom, including the demolition and construction of partition walls. New internal doors, frames and ironmongery will be installed throughout. The project will require new suspended ceilings and associated ceiling finishes, together with modifications to the electrical, data, lighting, mechanical and fire alarm systems to suit the new configuration. Internal finishes such as flooring, wall treatments and decoration will be renewed across the refurbished areas. The offices, kitchenette and Art/Photography spaces will be fully fitted out as part of the works, with all necessary making-good undertaken. ## Contract award
