Description

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) requires a robust and fully compliant contract for the planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and associated support of specialist decontamination equipment within HSDU at the Grange University Hospital.These services are required to be delivered by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The MMM decontamination systems operate on a closed protocol platform, and the manufacturer does not provide technical data, training, or proprietary materials to third party contractors. As a result, only OEM trained engineers have the necessary authorised access, diagnostic capability, and specialist knowledge to maintain the equipment safely and to the standards required for clinical use. OEM servicing also ensures that all replacement parts, consumables, and calibration processes meet manufacturer specifications, maintaining equipment performance, regulatory compliance, and the validity of any safety critical certifications.
