Universitetet i Stavanger (the University of Stavanger) intends to enter into a contract with Mazemap for the development of software to monitor the use of the group rooms. This builds on the existing mapping system we current use. This builds on the existing mapping system we current use. The solution must visualise whether the group room is in use or not by compiling information from TimeEdit and Mazemap. Through the use of sensors in the rooms, Mazemap can show the real life status for each room. It must be possible to reserve the rooms in the system. Reserved rooms that are not used will be released so that they are available to others. We want to buy this system to get better control and utilisation of group rooms on campus. This will give us better utilisation of the existing area and reduce the need for new land. It will be easier for the students to find available group rooms.
