Repair and maintenance services

Description

The Contracting Authority is a growing multi academy trust. Shaw Education Trust lead and manage academies in all phases, all sectors and in all communities. The Trust currently comprises of eleven academies, which are a mixture of Primary, Secondary and Special educational needs (SEN). The Contracting Authority intends to appoint a contractor to deliver building maintenance services including: — Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), — statutory tests and inspections, — reactive maintenance. The Employer is seeking an innovative approach, which is customer focused and incorporates all the requirements of their key stakeholders. The applicant will be required to ensure that the services are provided to a level that ensures that the assets are maintained to industry standards and in line with best practice principles. The Contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 1-year terms, dependent upon satisfactory performance and at the sole discretion of the Employer.
