Description
ECC wishes to establish a framework agreement for 3 Lots of construction contractors for residential and commercial sustainable energy efficient developments under which ECC and Other Contracting Bodies in England and Wales (as set out in VI.3) of the EXEseed Contract Notice) will call off works contracts. The EXEseed Framework is an integral part of ECC's vision to promote and deliver exemplar public buildings across Exeter in accordance with three Environmental Factors: buildings which (a) have long term low energy annual running costs; (b) are healthy for their users, residents and operators, and adopt ‘Building Biology’ principles; and (c) are ‘future proof’ to climate change up to 2080, including a leisure complex with swimming pool, extra care homes and new ECC housing stock. It is also a means for mobilising local, regional and national contractors to work with ECC and Other Contracting Bodies to construct and deliver a portfolio of projects over the next 3-4 years. Lot A (small projects) 50 000 GBP to 1 499 999 GBP. Lot B: Medium sized projects 1 500 000 GBP to 9 999 999 GBP. Lot C: Large projects over 10 000 000 GBP.
